The BACCIMA delegation paid a courtesy visit to the ASPMDA business group at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, located along Badagry Expressway. The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the Chamber, encourage membership enrollment, and educate the group on the key benefits of joining the Chamber.
Upon arrival, the ASPMDA group—who were in the midst of a meeting—warmly received the delegation. The President of the Chamber, Alhaji Yahaya Oladiran Idris, delivered the opening address. He began by introducing each member of the delegation, highlighting their respective roles within the Chamber, including the Director-General, Women Leader, and Director of Human Resources, among others.
Following the introductions, the President provided an overview of the Chamber, outlining its vision, mission, core objectives, and notable achievements. His address was well received, and it sparked engagement from the ASPMDA members, who asked several questions regarding the Chamber’s operations and benefits. The Director-General also contributed by addressing additional inquiries and providing further clarification.
The interaction yielded positive outcomes, as many members of the ASPMDA group expressed immediate interest in joining the Chamber. BACCIMA gladly welcomed these prospective members.
The visit concluded with a closing prayer, followed by light refreshments. Photographs were taken to commemorate the occasion before the delegation’s departure.
