Earlier today, the Badagry Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACCIMA) paid a solemn condolence visit to the Palace of the Akran of Badagry following the transition of His Royal Majesty, De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi, who until his passing was the Grand Patron of BACCIMA.

The delegation was led by the President of BACCIMA, Alhaji Yahaya Oladiran Idris, accompanied by members of the Chamber’s leadership and executive. The visit was conducted in the spirit of respect, reverence, and deep sympathy for the Royal Family and the entire Badagry Kingdom.

During the visit, BACCIMA formally presented a letter of condolence from the Chamber, conveying its heartfelt sympathies and profound appreciation for the fatherly guidance, royal blessings, and unwavering support the late monarch extended to the Chamber during his lifetime.

In addition, the delegation delivered a letter of condolence from the National President of NACCIMA, Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, further affirming the national esteem in which the late Akran was held and recognising his immense contributions to peace, commerce, and community development.

BACCIMA reaffirmed its loyalty to the traditional institution and its commitment to preserving the values of unity, dignity, and progress exemplified by the late monarch. Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of his soul and for divine comfort for the Royal Family and the people of Badagry.

The Chamber joins the entire Badagry Kingdom in mourning this great loss and honours the enduring legacy of His Royal Majesty, De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi.
