Deputy Comptroller Yahaya Oladiran A. Idris (Rtd), born in Erio-Ekiti on July 6, 1960, is a retired Nigerian Customs officer with a distinguished career marked by notable achievements in enforcement and security. A graduate of History and International Relations from Lagos State University, he joined the Nigeria Customs Service in 1992. Throughout his career, he held various key roles, including positions at the Seme Border Command, Ogun II Excise Command, and as a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). He was commended for seizing a vehicle with concealed ammunition in 1996 and for his role in recovering a G3-rifle from a smuggler. As a PFSO, he played a crucial role in maritime security and port reforms, contributing to policies on port security and decongestion. His efforts earned him several commendations from organizations like the U.S. Embassy, the UN Commission for Refugees, and the Nigerian Ports Authority. Towards the end of his service, he was instrumental in establishing the Joint Examination/Fusion Center at APMT Apapa, a project that was highly praised by international bodies. After retiring, he continued his public service, becoming the first Deputy President of the Badagry Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACCIMA) and is now its current President
Mr. Ashamu Sewanu Fadipe is a native of Badagry, born on April 2, 1957. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in sociology from the University of Paris X. He is a seasoned public servant and tourism professional. He served as the pioneer General Manager of the Lagos State Tourism Board in 1998, later becoming the pioneer Permanent Secretary for the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism in 2008. Throughout his career, he developed and facilitated numerous tourism projects and policies in Lagos State. Mr. Fadipe has also worked with international organizations, serving as a focal point for a UN-led project on coastal tourism in Africa. A published author, he has written three books on tourism and history. He also lectured at Lagos State University. After his public service, he founded the Slave Market Museum International in 2022, which UNESCO has recognized as unique. Mr. Fadipe is fluent in English and French.
Engr. Seton M. Senu is an engineer, entrepreneur, and digital transformation advocate with 20+ years of driving business innovation and SME growth. As CEO of SO TechAfrica Ltd and a Fellow of the Institute of Trade Development, he has bridged technology and commerce through impactful initiatives. Now serving as DG of BACCIMA, he is committed to making the chamber a hub of trade excellence and economic growth in Badagry and beyond.
Mrs. Adenike Alade is a communications strategist, educator, and entrepreneur passionate about shaping narratives that inspire growth. As the founder of a thriving school and an expert in public relations, she blends education and communication to drive impact. She has led initiatives that strengthen community engagement and amplify organizational visibility. As Director of Communications at BACCIMA, she is dedicated to projecting the chamber’s voice, fostering meaningful partnerships, and advancing economic development in Badagry and beyond.
Mrs. Grace Abosede Laguda is an educationist, entrepreneur, and innovator with over a decade of experience across education, printing, sales, and agriculture. As the Director of Yinna Schools Limited, she has built a legacy of academic excellence and character development. Her entrepreneurial footprint spans multiple sectors, reflecting her resilience and commitment to community growth. As BACCIMA’s Director of Benchmarking, she champions standardization, accountability, and sustainable business practices, ensuring the chamber maintains the highest standards for growth and impact.
Mr. Adagba Whenu is an experienced IT professional with expertise in web development, digital strategy, and innovation. He has supported organizations in adopting technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency and unlock growth opportunities. At BACCIMA, he serves as Director of Information Technology, where he leads the chamber’s digital transformation agenda. His focus is on strengthening the chamber’s online presence, streamlining operations, and equipping members with modern technological tools to thrive in today’s economy.
Mrs. Racheal Eyitayo Ariori is a seasoned industrialist, entrepreneur, and human capital developer with over two decades of leadership experience. She has built a strong reputation in agro-processing, packaging, and enterprise development, where her NAFDAC-certified products stand as a mark of quality and sustainability. As the founder of training academies, she has empowered countless entrepreneurs with practical skills and business knowledge. At BACCIMA, she serves as Director of Human Resources, driving talent development, organizational growth, and a culture of excellence that strengthens the chamber’s workforce.
Builder Wusu Sunday is an accomplished construction professional and entrepreneur with years of expertise in building, infrastructure development, and facility management. He has successfully delivered numerous residential and commercial projects, earning a reputation for quality, precision, and innovation. His work reflects a strong commitment to sustainable building practices and community-focused development. As BACCIMA’s Director of Facilities, he oversees the chamber’s physical assets, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and long-term value.
